| Hego-ekialdeko Espainian, horma handi batek bi mundu banatzen ditu. Mundu osasuntsu bat, eta gaixo, kutsakortzat jotzen den beste bat. Fontilleseko sendategia lepraz gaixotutako pertsonentzat babesleku izan da. Zuzendariak horma hori zeharkatzen du, haren alboan eta gainetik ibiltzen da. Guztiek batera haren oroimenaren zatiak gorpuzten dituzte eta desagertzen ari den mundu baten kontakizunaren zaindari bihurtzen dira.
En el sureste de España, un gran muro separa dos mundos. Un mundo sano, y otro considerado enfermo, contagioso. El sanatorio de Fontilles ha sido un refugio para las personas afectadas por la lepra. La cineasta recorre este muro, a lo largo y a través de él, y se encuentra con testigos del pasado y del presente: los últimos residentes, trabajadores, una hermana franciscana, los vecinos y el paisaje. Juntos encarnan fragmentos de su memoria y se convierten en narradores de un mundo que desaparece.
In south-eastern Spain, a great wall separates worlds. A healthy world, and one deemed sick, contagious. The sanatorium of Fontilles has been a sanctuary for those afflicted with leprosy. The filmmaker travels along and across this wall and encounters witnesses of the past and the present : the last residents, workers, a Franciscan sister, neighbours, and the landscape. Together, they embody fragments of its memory and become storytellers of a vanishing world.
